Steller Kindness Project // 2019 Impact
When I first started the Steller Kindness Project, my motivation was simple: I wanted to build connections through quiet acts of kindness. I did it in the unique ways that I could, whether that was giving haircuts at the side of the road or offering my space to people in my community or telling the stories of people who embody kindness. I never anticipated that what started out as something I did in my spare time would grow into what it’s become today.
This year was monumental for Steller Kindness Project. I’m so proud to say that we are now a non-profit organization with a thriving community of volunteers and supporters spreading kindness through Red Bag events and Red Chair events. In 2019 alone, Steller Kindness Project:
Enlisted 218+ of volunteers
Packed 600+ red bags
Gave haircuts to 92+ people
Partnered with 7 local NFP organizations and shelters
All of our 2019 accomplishments were powered by the time, energy, and By making a tax-deductible gift to Steller Kindness Project, you can help us continue this work. We have even bigger dreams for 2020. We want to host even more events, give even more haircuts, and spread kindness even further.
