People Don't Need To Be Saved—They Need To Be Seen.
One red salon chair, placed on a street corner, started a movement driven by kindness and compassion. The Red Chair Project provides free haircuts and heart-to-heart connections to those who are often overlooked and underserved in our community.
Steller Kindness Project…
…connects with people who are underserved and overlooked through acts of kindness that acknowledge our shared humanity. Our hope is to use our ventures (like the Red Chair Project) to help people get off social media and start spreading kindness in their communities.
STORIES OF KINDNESS
We want to celebrate people who are positively impacting others, sometimes without even realizing it. This project is meant to inspire. We believe that if we want to see macro changes in our word, it needs to start on a micro level. It starts with showing up and being kind to the person right in front of you.
RED CHAIR PROJECT
The Red Chair Project challenges the judgment, assumptions, or discomfort people feel towards those in need, and sheds light on the fact that you are driving by a human who has experienced pain, joy and everything in between. People don't need to be saved, they need to be seen, and we all have the capability to do that.
